Hi there! My name is Dara, a 29-year-old podcaster on a break, developer and BJJ newbie with a passion for programming, books, long walks, deep conversations, and dogs.

Some words about me as a professional:

I transitioned into the software world in 2021, driven by a desire to be more involved in shaping user experiences. Currently working as a Front-end developer using TypeScript and React daily. A fun fact is that before I became a developer, I was working as a recruiter - interviewing and hiring devs, and in the end, I managed to recruit myself as well :D I am striving to enhance my skills not just in coding, but in design too, which is why I'm currently learning about UI/UX design.

Some words about me as a person:

I am a homebody. I like simple things like cuddling with my dog, drinking wine, reading books, and listening to my second-hand vinyl collection of Jazz music. I binge a lot - sometimes it is Netflix, sometimes a side hustle, but most of the time, it's unhealthy snacks on the couch. (Guilty)

Some words about the blog:

Given that I created this blog as my digital garden, I am thinking of writing on topics related to work, life, jiu-jitsu and everything close to my heart. So expect everything from code examples to cool recipes for Christmas cookies.
